Gus's expertise in corporate recruiting stems from 25 years in corporate sales management and manufacturing. He was Managing Director of an appliance manufacturing company in the Caribbean for 9 years where he increased sales revenue by 900% to $7 million.

Upon returning to Chicago he got involved with a start-up executive recruiting company where he gained his expertise in contingent recruiting.  He was able to provide candidates for management and individual contributor positions in application development, hardware and software architecture, operations, networking, LAN, WAN, and database administration, filling 100% of the positions in a timely manner. 

After helping develop their market share in Chicago for almost 5 years, he joined a billion dollar computer company, Data General  and became one of two staffing managers in the country.  He remained with DG for 5 years and helped grow their staffing organization until he joined Oracle Corporation.

As Oracles Central staffing manager he covered three regions, North Central, Great Lakes, and South Central, and by creative methods helped to add over 100 candidates in less then two years.

He began Cyber Solutions, Ltd. in 2001 which specializes in sales and sales management, pre-sales, post-sales, project management, marketing, and consulting sales candidates for large and not so large corporations. Cyber solutions has been retained by such well respected companies as Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, EMC, Sybase, Auspex’s, Aspect, Abbott Labs, Power Software Development, Evanston Northwestern Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Faculty Foundation, Interface Software and start up firms like Egenera, Search Space and others.
