The Retail Software division is seeking ambitious and highly-motivated Enterprise Software Sales Account Executive. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will drive next generation enterprise retail software solutions and professional services revenue by identifying, pursuing and closing new customers from assigned prospect base of specialty retail durable goods accounts located within assigned geographic territory. My client has an opening for an experienced sales consultant for our HRMS initiative to work alongside the existing sales force in presenting our new HRMS solutions to new and existing clients. This position will cover the Western region of the U.S.

Work with the sales force to prospect for new business using a variety of methods such as telemarketing, sending direct mail, calling referrals and using the current sales representatives to call on existing customers. Send information as requested and work with the  sales force to follow up with phone calls to actively qualify prospects for the HRMS products/solutions.  Help determine how a product would be selected, who would be involved in the decision, and how Human Resources and Payroll is currently handled at prospective customers. Perform needs analysis with customer through personal interview, asking open-ended qualifying questions, and doing surveys.   Ability to establish the value of my client’s product. Work with AE to demonstrate products appropriate for customer’s needs. Help the sales rep prepare HRMS proposal including executive summary, return on investment, pricing information, request for proposals, if appropriate, and present to customer. Ensure that implementation goes smoothly by working with service team to develop an implementation plan introducing service personnel to customer, assist sales rep with follow up phone calls during the implementation period, consulting with service as needed.

May travel a total of 25% or more, with most travel being one-day trips, some occasional overnights included.

Education and/or Experience:
